This is a real-time story of a legendary astrologer famously use to be known as -Kala pandit Ji and a very rich man in a city -Chandra bhan; in a small town of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh-there was a legendary astrologer due to his dark complexion, people used to call him Kala Pandit Ji.
He was a very noble man and used to perform all his duties as a priest of bhairav temple with sincere dedication people used to say he had “siddh” bhairav-Means at any point in time; he could communicate with lord Bhairav. Also, his dedication towards lord bhairav was such that you could feel the energy in his aura.
He had good knowledge of astrology, so every day, there were visitors in the temple who, after aarti and pooja, would consult pandit Ji for their problems. In the same city, there was a rich man -a Landlord named Chandra bhan -There is still a place on his name in the city -Chandar Nagar named after him only.
He was very disappointed as he didn’t have kids, so he approached Kala pandit Ji with the problem. After carefully listening to his problem and analysing his chart, Kala pandit Ji told him -to construct a temple, and he will be blessed with Son. Chandra bhan was very excited after hearing this as money was never an issue to him, so quickly he donated some land as he had plenty and construction of the temple also started; in the meantime, his wife also got pregnant, but as days passed by, Chandra bhan stopped giving money for temple and temple was nearly ready only roof was to be done but due to lack of funds never got completed.
Anyhow, nature has its ways of telling stories- The boy born to Chandrabhan was mentally challenged, and they came to know only after 2–3 years after birth, and this was very shocking for Chandra bhan and his family; he went back again to pandit Ji asking why it has happened, Pandit Ji replied with a question- Have you completed a temple? He replied no but offered that he would complete it soon. To which pandit Ji replied- Once the fruit has been ripped, you can’t change the flavour.
To this date, Chander Nagar exists in Saharanpur. Still, the family of Chandra bhan is living on rent somewhere as all his property was forcefully taken over by someone else after his death. The point I want to stress in the story is that sometimes we promise different things to god but, due to our busy schedule and lifestyle, forget to deliver; it’s hazardous. Whenever you promise any donation, Seva(Physical work in a temple), Chalisa (40 days), or any other form to complete your work, Please complete it.
Tomorrow on the 16th of November, is Kaal Bhairav Ashtami which means the time is right to perform the rituals of Ashtami, which is a fierce tithi and to create balance in life and honour both light and darkness as this is the mid tithi. Tomorrow morning, you should add turmeric, Khas and Jatamasi while taking a bath and establish a pind – a ball made of 7 types of flour (Mix flour) by mixing black til and Jau in it.
Worship this ball as a resemblance of Kaal Bhairav by dropping milk, honey, and perfume- applying tilak and reciting Kaal bhairav ashtkam- In the evening, make one chapati of it which is roasted from one end, mix it with milk and offer to dogs to eat as only dogs can take the energy of Bhairav.

Kaal-Bhairav- (God of Brutal times)-He was created to perform fierce tasks, which was necessary during that time.
Kaal Bhairav Ashtami is remembered when Sun transits the natural sign of Scorpio and the Moon is in Cancer, both watery signs -showing that long-term goals of Moksha and peace are necessary. In contrast, Sun shows the action taken (Karam). The moon shows the intention (Manas) as this brutal act(Bhairav-Scorpio) was the necessity of time (Kaal) to maintain peace in this world(Cancer).
