The story of Krishna’s birth is steeped in divine miracles and cosmic significance. According to ancient scriptures, Krishna was born over 5,000 years ago in the Dvapara Yuga, in the city of Mathura.According to the prophecy, Vishnu was to be born as Krishna from Devki’s womb. So, in his 8th incarnation, in the 28th Dwapar of the Manvantar of the 8th Manu Vaivasvat, 7 Muhurtas of the night of the Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapad passed and the 8th appeared, only then the most auspicious Lagna appeared at midnight. Only auspicious planets were visible on that Lagna.
It happened in a yoga called Jayanti with the conjunction of Rohini Nakshatra and Ashtami Tithi around 3112 BC (i.e. 5126 years ago from today). According to astrologers, it was zero time at 12 o’clock at night. Lord Krishna was born in Taurus and Moon was in ascendant.
