Basant Panchami – 2024 Remedies

Based on the Hindu calendar, Basant Panchami falls mostly on the fifth day of the Magh month & people celebrate Basant Panchami in different ways depending on where they are. On this auspicious day, a lot of Hindus pay tribute to the Goddess Saraswati. Devotees revere her with all their creative energy and vitality

The remedy ritual is to place Saraswati statue on your altar or in your puja area then chant the following mantra 108 times.

सरस्वति नमस्तुभ्यं वरदे कामरूपिणि ।
विद्यारम्भं करिष्यामि सिद्धिर्भवतु मे सदा ॥
.
Sarasvati Namastubhyam Varade Kaama-Ruupinni |
Vidya-arambham Karissyaami Siddhir-Bhavatu Me Sadaa ||

After that, offer 3 Besan ladoo along with Kumkum & sprinkle ittar of the diety, keep the most favourite book of Jyotish or the book you wish to understand in deeper way in front of Saraswati Idol and pray that you get to absorb and implement knowledge from the same.

Finally offer dhoop, deep, agarbatti in front of the deity.
